To design and build an optimized motor, we require: rated power output (kW/HP), input voltage and grid frequency (e.g. 380V/50Hz, 460V/60Hz), rated speed/poles, mounting style (B3, B5, V1, etc.), environmental protection rating (IP55/IP56/IP65), target efficiency class (IE3, IE4, IE5), load torque characteristics (constant vs. variable torque), VFD speed range, and any site-specific constraints like physical size limitations or ambient temperature.
2. How does SIMO prevent bearing damage caused by VFD-induced currents?
Variable frequency drives generate high-frequency common-mode voltages, which can discharge through standard motor bearings and cause pitting or "fluting" wear.
